Holistic Nutrition: For Whom?

Balanced nutrition is for everyone!

You don’t have to be dieting for weight loss to see a nutritionist. Nutrition is a science that examines the relationship between food and health. It’s the way in which we ingest, digest, metabolize, absorb, store and eliminate those nutrients.

Because nutritional science is somewhat new, yet ever-changing field, the information can seem confusing and super overwhelming.

But a simple truth remains: the foods we choose to eat, and how we eat them are important for the growth and maintenance of a thriving and healthy body.

Healthy Weight Gain/Weight Loss

Getting Off the Diet Roller Coaster Forever

Towards a Guiltless and Healthy Lifestyle

If  you’ve struggled to stick to a diet or just to constantly eat well, it is not because you lacked willpower, or didn’t try hard enough.

The truth is, our upbringing, the food industry, government guidelines, influencers and the whole weight loss industry put so many recommendations and restrictions, that nutrition becomes confusing for most people. This confusion causes overwhelm, so nothing ends up being sustainable.

I take a different approach. I teach you how to leave all types of dieting behind, eat the food that your body wants, without restriction all while achieving your health goals.

Everything we do takes energy, every movement. And that energy is fueled by micro nutrients we obtain from the food we eat. This is why eating right is so important!

Fatigues, lackluster and low energy may have deeper underlying causes, and it’s always important to take this into consideration. The right nutrition plan can be amazingly effective to regain your energy and feel like your best self again.

There is this idea that all weight gain or loss must come from overeating or under exercising.
While food and exercise is certainly an important part of health and wellbeing, it’s not always the case. There are many who struggle with weight because of a hormonal imbalance.

Weight loss can be an integral part of your overall health, but believe there are many areas interlinked to your health, where you need a plan tailored to your unique nutritional needs and wants, health, weight and body. My approach allows you to lose unwanted weight but also to celebrate food and your body.

Weight loss can be very stressful and most diets turn out to be counter effective and discouraging.

It can be hard to develop a new relationship with your body, feel good in your skin and get rid of body image issues when social media and dietary advice are surrounding us. But it can also set you up for success in many aspects of your life.

My nutritional support packages include a human approach close to coaching: It’s important for my clients to feel heard and understood, in order to finally face challenges while moving towards a peaceful and conscious lifestyle.

Have a sideline cheerleader, celebrating every small victory with you along the way!

The more stress you are under and the longer you are under it will determine the severity of your symptoms.

The food of our little ones is among the first concerns as parents. As you know, there is very little education around this subject and yet feeding your children right is the ultimate way to guarantee a serene atmosphere at home.

Our quality of life can be determined by the quality of our cells that make up our body. As pregnant mothers, we need to feed our body nutritious healthy foods.
Having 2 children myself and supporting other mothers during pregnancy, I know how important nutrition is. Pregnancy involves an increased demand for most nutrients and to ensure these are adequate both nutrition through diet and supplementation are advised.

Babies are born with an immature digestive system that is not able to easily breakdown and assimilate foods. Their enzymes & digestive systems are yet to be plentiful or efficient. So here lies the importance of the correct introduction of solid foods.

An adult’s digestive health experience is most certainly related to the digestive strength established and fostered during childhood. Inappropriate food introduction during childhood can compromise digestive strength for life.

Navigating nutritious and acceptable foods to a small human is an extremely difficult and time consuming minefield.

The health of our children begins with the lifestyle habits we create today and our efforts will be rewarded with vibrant children.

Few things are as important as providing our children with quality food – in fact, their health, happiness and development depend on it.

As parents, securing our family’s health through wellness habits is the greatest gift we can offer our children.

When parents lead by example it’ll echoes through the walls of their grandchildren It’s a process, not a destination, and any process begins with little steps.
